Software Update

Note: To update the Syvecs firmware, the controller must be in Bootloader Mode.

Bootloader mode is enabled when it has power from USB only (no power from the vehicle harness). The best way to do this is

  • Bench update disconnected from the car.
  • Or by pulling the AWD fuse in the engine bay (7.5 amps) which will simulate the same condition.

Use Syvecs updater and most current Syvecs firmware from the Syvecs website.

Limp Mode Temperature Change

Note: This does not require boot loader mode. You can do this with the AWD controller installed.

Syvecs currently sets limp mode off the ITCC temperature sensor because it is the only physical OE temperature sensor in the AWD driveline. As a temporary measure, increase the Limp Mode from the default 100C (212F) to 135C (275F). Only do this if you have a transfer case cooler installed.

More functionality to be announced regarding this topic.

Use SCal to increase the Limp Mode limit.

  1. Connect to controller via USB
  2. Manually increase temperature limit by right clicking and then add
    • Units can be switched between Metric and Imperial (Freedom) units
  3. Save changes to controller

Note: Maximum ITCC Temperature we have personally experienced is ~245F. It is possible to entirely shutoff limp mode under "Calibration Switch" settings.
